Australia’s agricultural industry is undergoing an exciting transformation. Deloitte projects that it could be worth an extra $250 billion to the Australian economy over the next 20 years.
Meanwhile, new technologies are helping to improve productivity and change age-old practices across the almost 200,000 businesses trading in this sector.
You have the option of studying many specialist topics such as pasture management for livestock production, along with the “business side” of this industry with topics including budgeting and whole of farm planning, animal health management and livestock management.
You will learn in our specialised Rural Sciences Skills Center, where you can use the equipment and facilities you would find on a modern and well equipped agricultural enterprise.
The Certificate III in Agriculture and Certificate IV in Agriculture will give you skills to excel in this area.
