Monday 22 February - International students only

If you are an international student starting at Federation University, you MUST attend your international orientation. You should also attend the rest of the orientation events and activities. It's all important and designed to set you up ready for your university journey! We've also made it easy for you by creating one central Orientation Hub where you will access both your self-paced and live orientation events and activities.

For everyone! This part of your orientation includes the more formal University and School information as well as social events and activities. Wednesday 24 February

Today is all about being social and personal development. These online events require an RSVP which can be done in the Orientation Hub on Moodle

Experience Melbourne like you've never experienced it before! Students will be put into groups and sent off on a virtual adventure to find interesting destinations and information. How many challenges can your team complete? Did we mention there are prizes up for grabs?!

This 30 minute workshop is a great introduction to the topic of Emotional Intelligence and sets the scene for the upcoming series of five Emotional Intelligence workshops being run during semester.

Brought to you by our Berwick E-Games Club, come along for some friendly (and maybe slightly competitive!) gaming.  Never gamed before, not to worry, club members will be there to guide you through set up and the basics of how to play. Just by participating you’ll have the chance to win some of the great prizes and giveaways up for grabs!

We all know life can stressful and embarking on new studies can be hard. The best time to tackle this is now and in this workshop we will introduce mindfulness techniques to reduce your stress during your studies.

Speed friending on Microsoft Teams, yes, it's online! You’ll spend 3 – 5 minutes getting to know someone new, and then start the process all over again with someone different! Don't worry, we will add in a few conversation starters to get you going.

On-campus events from week 1

It takes more than a week to welcome you to FedUni and we have a whole variety of on-campus events and activities planned for you as well.

Pop-up welcome tables

Look out for a pop up welcome table on your campus during weeks 1 and 2. Grab a Fed wall planner, a snack and some merch!

Emotional Intelligence Workshops

This series of workshops looks at many topics related to emotional intelligence from time management to leadership mindsets.
