Located in the heart of Brisbane’s lively city, our campus is moments away from industry and government partners with great shopping, entertainment and cultural centres all on our doorstep. From tech hubs and transformational learning spaces to student lounges and fully equipped study rooms, our modern campus provides the latest learning environments with collaborative study spaces and personalised learning and support services. Your Fed Uni experience also extends beyond the classroom, connecting you to local and multi-national industry partners such as River City Labs and Concentrix.

Starting uni can be pretty daunting, but don’t worry, Orientation is designed to help get you set. Attending Orientation will help you learn more about Federation, familiarise yourself with your School, and meet your peers and teaching staff. With a range of events planned for Brisbane students across Orientation and into Trimester 1, you’re sure to find something you want to get involved in.

Room numbers for orientation sessions (and classes) can be a little long and confusing at first. You'll find you learn them quickly, but you can use the following rules to help you out:

  • Brisbane Campus rooms are always written as three numbers. For example, Room 502.
  • The first number denotes the floor. So in our example of 502, the room will be on Floor 5.
  • The last two numbers are just the room number and denote the exact room you are looking for.
