Managing money as a student isn’t always easy. If you're dealing with money worries, food insecurity or housing issues, see how we can help.

What we can help you with

We have free food pantries on campus. Just book your visit and bring a reusable bag.
Financial support
We offer Hardship Support Grants of up to $1200 for university and TAFE students.
Accommodation
We provide on campus student accommodation and offer advice for renting nearby.
Free clothing
We offer free second-hand corporate clothing at the Nourishment Nook as part of our Styled for Success at Fed program.

Wednesday meal specials

We’re running a free breakfast club in the Mt Helen, Berwick and Gippsland campus libraries. Drop in and grab something to eat before class.

You can also enjoy a fresh vegetarian lunch for just $3 at the Mt Helen, Gippsland, Berwick and SMB campus cafés.

Transport and fuel savings

Use the Servo Saver app to compare fuel prices at nearby service stations and find cheaper options.

Carpooling can help reduce travel costs. Use Moovl to connect with other students and staff travelling the same way.
