This service enables off campus students, enrolled in FedUni programs, to have a face-to-face counselling appointment using video link technology.
How does it work?
At an appointed time, a FedUni Counsellor will make a video call to you. This will enable you to see and communicate directly with them.
What to expect
Your appointment will take 50 minutes and will be similar to a face-to-face counselling appointment. You will need to ensure that you are in a private place where you can talk freely without interruption.
You will need to have:
- A computer with a working camera
- Installed Office365 and Skype software - free to FedUni students.
- A reliable internet connection (tethering your smart phone is not recommended).
Note: The session will use approximately 250MB.
If you encounter any problems installing the software or are unsure about your data usage, please contact FedUni IT Service Desk on 1800 333 864 between 8.30am and 12am Monday to Friday or 10am to 3pm Saturdays.
