Career Accelerate Program (CAP)

Prepare yourself for work with the Career Accelerate Program (CAP). It's a free, fully online, self-paced Moodle course designed to increase your employability. You can do every topic or just the bits you find relevant.

Mentor Advantage Program

Apply for the Mentor Advantage Program to learn more about the field you’re hoping to work in. You’ll be matched with an industry expert who will tell you about current trends and help you prepare for the study-to-employment shift.

We think volunteer work deserves recognition. Any co-curricular activities or volunteer work you do while you’re studying at Fed counts towards a Federation Advantage award. There are three stages: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Students as Staff

"Students as Staff" supports you to earn money and develop employability skills whilst working in paid roles at Fed.

To receive notifications for new "Students as Staff" jobs, email your resume to Edge@federation.edu.au. Once assessed, you'll be tagged as a job seeker within the university. You'll receive targeted emails about new opportunities to apply for through EDGE. You can also explore roles such as service center officers, peer mentors, library assistants, and more.
