About us

The Collaborative Evaluation Unit (CEU) works in partnership to build evaluation capacity, research and expertise in Gippsland. As a local provider, the CEU understands the value of listening to the community and has the ability to deliver timely, rigorous and sustainable evaluations tailored to the needs of a wide variety of organisations. The CEU provides training, workshops and mentoring to build capacity to enable organisations to conduct meaningful evaluations.

Our values

  • Innovation: leading innovation in evaluation and research
  • Integrity: commitment to ethical, robust research and evaluation
  • Community: partnering with communities to transform lives

Our approach

The CEU is committed to academic rigour, best practice and high quality research. We use a participatory evaluation and co-design framework which puts communities at the heart of evaluation.

We are independent and have a unique ability to bring together high quality cross-disciplinary teams to better suit our partners.

The CEU encourages collaboration between higher degree students and our work to address issues of significance, particularly those in a regional setting.
