About Brian Mackenzie

The Brian Mackenzie Gippsland Bursary was established to honour the life of Emeritus Professor Brian Mackenzie, who was Pro Vice-Chancellor of Monash University Gippsland from 2000-2007.

Professor Mackenzie, made an extensive contribution to not only the university, but the wider community, ushering in a number of major projects that have since become integral to the success of the campus.

Framed by Professor Mackenzie's passion for education, research and regional opportunity, the fund will support student equity scholarships.

The Bursary is open to domestic students. Selection is based on financial circumstances.

The bursary is valued at $3,000.
