What are some of your career highlights?

The opportunities for leadership that I have had here at College.

Working on King Island as part of the Clarendon College Year 9 program.

Recent trip to Harvard University to study instructional rounds under Professor Richard Elmore.

Describe the most enjoyable and challenging aspects of your job

Teaching Year 12 students. Working hard with them to achieve excellent results.

Working in the College boarding community.

Developing my skills as an English teacher and working with Middle School students in this area.

Coaching sporting teams, especially the College 1st XVIII.

What are your strongest memories while you were studying at the University of Ballarat?

The strong camaraderie built between the students studying in the human movement and sport science areas.

The genuine interest shown in the students by the staff, most notably Judy Swan and Graham Ford.

The relaxed yet studious atmosphere in the Sport Science school.

PE balls  - They were always a sensational night.

Do you have any advice about life after study to pass on to current students?

If in education, make sure you do your bit to ensure teaching can be viewed as a profession, not a job, by working hard and committing yourself to continual learning.

Look for opportunities to build your leadership skills.
