Liberate eLearning

Rodney Beach is a passionate ambassador for the Learning and Development sector.

In 2010 he founded Liberate eLearning, a leading provider of digital learning that has helped many of Australia’s largest organisations embrace new ways to provide learning in order for them to stay competitive in an evolving and globally competitive market.

Rod is enthusiastic about sharing his experience with others through numerous initiatives including funding and hosting seminars, speaking free of charge at industry events and voluntarily mentoring numerous university interns.

Rod selflessly gives his time and expertise to provide pro bono learning and development work to various causes, providing consultancy advice to charities and creating and hosting learning management systems which support programs promoting diversity and inclusiveness or addressing gender equality and domestic violence.

He has also partnered with various organisations to develop free learning and development resources for the benefit of others including the Respect.Now.Always app and a module providing awareness of the National Disability Insurance Scheme program.

Rod’s efforts in shaping the learning and development sector have been acknowledged with a number of awards and nominations. Recently Liberate was named a “Business of Tomorrow” in the 2018 Westpac Business Awards and Rod was awarded the 2018 Learning and Development Professional of the Year by the Australian Institute of Training and Development.
