The opportunity to continue my studies for a PhD as a retired person. The friendships formed with like-minded students and my PhD supervisors.

Do you have any advice about life after study to pass on to current students?

Make the most of this opportunity as a valued experience for students of all ages, including retirees like myself; not just for professional qualifications, but the extension of oneself.
