Doctor of Philosophy
With high-profile staff who are experts in their field of creative endeavour, the award provides for creative research outcomes in the form of a practical, discipline-specific investigation. Students are externally examined by an exhibition or performance supported by an exegesis of no less than 20,000 words which explains, elaborates or illuminates the practical work and provides the critical and theoretical context.
Candidates are supported by a panel of two supervisors and can work on or off campus with some studio facilities available in the faculty.
