Ceramic Short Course – Hand- build Basics
A fun and experiential hand-building with clay workshop.
In this workshop you will be introduced to fundamental hand building techniques of pinching, coiling and slab building. You will then go on to explore form and texture using these techniques to create forms in clay. You will learn how to decorate using slips and underglaze colours.
The Hand Building Workshops will have a maximum of 12 students and a minimum of 8.
The cost of this course includes clay, use of tools, and materials for decorating and glazing.
Two (2) of your pieces will be glazed and fired by our technician after the class and be available for collection a couple of weeks after the class.
