Creating surveys


Qualtrics is the internal survey tool used at the University.

Qualtrics is a tool where staff can create unlimited Federation-branded surveys to collect data for teaching and research purposes. Surveys can be short or long, and have conditions or logic applied. Data is stored in secure cloud storage in accordance with applicable data privacy laws. Staff have full control over survey structure and data exporting.

All Federation University staff have a Qualtrics account automatically generated, which allows them to log in to the Qualtrics system. If you would like to create or edit existing surveys in the system, you will need to request addition access. To request a change of access level:

  1. Log in to Qualtrics to create your account.
  2. Head to the Service Desk Portal and log in if prompted
  3. Select Request
  4. Select the System Access and Accounts option, or search Qualtrics
  5. Complete a Student System Access Form
