Justice of the Peace

Mt Helen Campus

The Justice of the Peace (JP) document-signing station at Mt Helen is usually staffed by volunteers.  We have been notified that they are cancelling this in-university service until further notice.

Statutory declarations can also be witnessed or signed by the following authorised people within the community:

• Principal of a registered school
• Lawyer
• Medical practitioner
• Dentist
• Pharmacist
• Veterinarian
• Accountant
• Minister of religion authorised to celebrate marriages
• A Justice of the Peace or a Bail Justice
• Bank manager
• Police officer

Alternately, you can go online https://www.justice.vic.gov.au/justice-system/legal-assistance/find-a-justice-of-the-peace-jp and make an appointment with an individual JP.

Gippsland Campus

The students and staff requiring document signing at the Gippsland Campus can see Rev Bec Hayman at the Student Connect Building 3N or by appointment by calling 03 5327 9470.

All other campuses
