Gippsland Campus offers students and staff a wide range of world-class facilities and learning resources. The campus offers fully equipped lecture theatre and video conferencing facilities, an impressive library and study centre, computing labs, fitness and recreation facilities (both on-campus and within walking distance), student accommodation facilities and a comprehensive range of support and development services.

Art gallery
Hosted by the School of Arts, Switchback Gallery hosts exhibitions from students and other artists.
Bookshop
The Gippsland Campus bookshop provides a wide range of textbooks, stationery and Federation merchandise
Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy services at Gippsland Campus has a multi-faith chaplain available, providing:
- support, guidance and mentorship
- counselling on a range of personal or spiritual issues
- workshops, prayer and meditation sessions
Spiritual centre
Our multi-faith spiritual centre (open on weekdays) is a sacred and quiet space for prayer, reflection and meditation. Contact Chaplaincy @ Student Connect or by calling + 61 3 5122 6425.
The centre is located in room 1N105, next to the Gippsland Campus bookshop.
Food and catering
On-Campus cafe
The Gippsland on-campus café provides staff and students with a range of food and beverage options, including fresh and healthy sandwiches, sweet treats and a selection of hot food.

Catering
A comprehensive and flexible catering service is available across our campuses. Our onsite catering and events team will work with you to put together a tailored package personalised to your tastes, budget and event themes, featuring local produce and gourmet selections.
Fedstore
Fedstore stocks a range of Federation University branded items, apparel, gift ware, and stationery.

Fedliving offers a range of accommodation options across our campuses at Ballarat, Berwick and Gippsland, with options suitable for students, staff and members of the community.
Library
The Gippsland Campus library houses a comprehensive range of resources and facilities and is an inviting place for you to study or research. Whether you're on-campus or online learning student, the library provides a portal to the entire Federation University Australia library.
Inter-library borrowing
An intra-library loan scheme allows students and staff to borrow material from a range of academic libraries.
Off-campus services
If you are studying off-campus, you have access to a comprehensive range of library services. Online resources include books, journal articles, databases and websites – and if it's not online, our postal loans service will get it to you.
On-campus services
Tours, classes and drop-in sessions run by library staff will help you find your way around the library and learn how it operates. Our staff are happy to show you the most effective ways to study and research.
With individual study booths to help you concentrate, the library is the obvious place to go when you want a quiet place to hit the books. There are also screens, technology ports, interactive whiteboards and presentation spaces available.
We have a wide range of resources and materials to help students undertake industry placement and/or work experience.
Sport
Right on campus, or very close by, you'll find a multi-purpose sports field, a nine-hole golf course and basketball and tennis courts. You'll also find a range of ways to get involved in competitive or social sporting competitions, both on-campus and throughout the local region, which has a proud sporting culture.
Child care
A fully-accredited child care centre at Gippsland Enterprise Centre provides long-term and occasional care for children up to five years old.

Latrobe Leisure Centre
You can sign up for aerobics or other fitness classes at the Latrobe Leisure Centre in Churchill, which comprises a fully equipped gymnasium, squash courts, indoor multi-purpose courts, swimming pool and sauna. This outstanding facility is located directly opposite the campus.

International students studying at Federation University receive a comprehensive range of support services, to help them adjust to life in Australia and to assist them throughout their studies.
Regular events are held both on and off campus, allowing students to experience life in Australia and to develop new friendship and support networks. Our health and well-being staff are also available to assist with any issues you may be experiencing.
