Pathways

There are many ways for you to achieve the qualification you need for your chosen career. The information provided below may assist students who require an admission pathway in order to gain entry into a FedUni bachelor degree.

There are many reasons you may need to consider an admission pathway, but most commonly:

  • Current year 12 student or recent* VCE graduate - but do not meet the prerequisite VCE entry requirements.
  • Returning to study - have not participated in significant study for more than two years.
  • Have not completed secondary school education.

Current year 12 students, recent* VCE graduates and those returning to study

Consider the following options:

Complete FedUni's Foundation Access Studies (FAST) program
This six-month program prepares students for study in a degree program at FedUni. Successful completion of FAST guarantees you an offer of a place in a FedUni degree. Find out more.

OR

Study at TAFE
Look at completing a Certificate II or higher in a relevant study area from FedUni TAFE or another Victorian TAFE or RTO. Depending on the subjects undertaken you may receive credit towards your bachelor degree.

THEN

Apply online
As a FAST or TAFE graduate you are eligible to apply to a FedUni bachelor degree. Applications are accepted via VTAC or you may Apply Direct to FedUni.

* Graduated within the last two years

Have not completed secondary education

THEN
