Design production and delivery
Once you have completed a design services request form and submitted your (draft or final) content, CLIPP staff will work on your task/project.
Once complete, a proof will be sent to you for feedback. Small refinements can be made and once you are happy with the learning material, the appropriate form of delivery will take place (setting the job up for print, creating web image, etc.).
Revision of material
Once the final draft has been created and sent to you for proofing, we allow TWO rounds of small revisions. Some refinements may be very time consuming, we encourage staff to send the proposed content to be designed to all stakeholders for proofing and collating. This will ensure projects stay within scope and are delivered within the initial time frame.
Some changes may not be able to be completed once the project is at final proof stage (re-location of content pages etc.). If you have specific requirements please let us know before we begin.
Printing of material
CLIPP staff work closely with FedUni Print Services, who provide printing and binding services for all campuses. Print jobs can be processed via the online system, PrinterFace.
If you have any special printing requirements, please inform CLIPP staff before project commencement as design setup may differ depending on your requirements. CLIPP normally provide high quality PDF files which are print-ready and follow the brand guidelines.
If this is something you require, please discuss this with us before we begin your project.
Ideally, design work is developed in appropriate design application software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign) so unless you are skilled in these programs and know basic design principles, it is best that future updates are completed by a designer.
