Design preparation

CLIPP staff suggest allowing sufficient time for planning, production, revisions and printing/delivery. Each project will take a unique amount of time depending on the format, amount of content, and work capacity.

Once you have planned your request and collated the content, please fill in the design services request form and a CLIPP representative will be in contact shortly to discuss your request, and provide an estimated development time frame.

Design input

CLIPP staff have multiple FedUni-branded educational templates which comply with the brand guidelines. If you have existing design samples, we are happy to discuss keeping consistent design principles. All design input and influence must follow these guidelines where appropriate to maintain a consistent message and feel, so there may be some limitation in regard to layout and image selection.

CLIPP staff are happy to guide you based on the brand guidelines and general design, usability and accessibility principles.

Providing content

  • If we are creating a print material, such as a booklet or brochure, please provide a copy of the final text content in a Microsoft Word document. Please provide any high resolution images via email or USB, noting where these link to in the content.
  • If we are creating an image or flowchart, please provide a detailed sketch on paper, and scan/email the file to CLIPP staff.
  • If we are enhancing the look and feel of a Moodle course, please provide a list of the changes required in a Microsoft Word document, and please send any images you would like to use via email/USB.

Supplying images

We can use your images if they are high quality (300DPI for print / 72DPI for web) and follow the brand guidelines where appropriate.

CLIPP have a collection of images which may be useful for design projects, however if you require specialised high quality images based on your content/school, we may refer you to your faculty marketing staff, who may have a collection based on your school/faculty, or we can guide you on which iStock images may be appropriate.
