Learning and Quality eSummit 2013

High quality learning for diverse student cohorts

Monday 4 November 2013

This event was run simultaneously at both our University and Monash Gippsland via a video conferencing link.

This was a joint initiative by the Learning and Quality Portfolio at the University and the Off Campus Learning Centre and eSolutions at Monash Gippsland. This annual event focused on a learning theme of contemporary importance to the University. It was an opportunity for University staff to discuss a 'hot topic' in learning and quality, of broad and current relevance to  the University's teaching and learning community.

This year's Learning and Quality eSummit focused on high quality learning for diverse student cohorts

The program for the day featured a number of staff from both universities, and the keynote address was delivered by Professor Marcia Devlin who drew on her research on effective teaching and support for students from low socio-economic status backgrounds.
