Background to election
A vacancy exists on the University's Academic Board for one VET Teeacher.
The position will serve a one-year term beginning 1 January 2018 and concluding on 31 December 2018.
The proposer and seconder must be employed in the same category as the person being nominated and all must be currently employed at a time fraction of 0.5 or greater at Federation University Australia. Retiring members are eligible to renominate for a maximum of three consecutive terms.

The nomination form must be returned no later than 5.00pm on Friday, 22 December 2017.
Nominees may provide a supporting statement of no more than 250 words with their nomination form, to be distributed to members in the case of an election.
Completed nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer by no later than 5.00pm Friday, 22 December 2017.

If there is more than one nomination, an election will be held by a secret ballet from 9.00am Monday, 8 January 2018 to 5.00pm Friday, 12 January 2018. Voting papers will be distributed to Academic Board Members.
