A regional history of the Australian gold rushes and their long term legacies

This thesis ties in with the theme of Australian mining history and heritage, and the role of mining in the development of key regions of Australia. Mining history is a core research theme of the Collaborative Research Centre in Australian History.

Australia’s relationship with Asia during the mid-twentieth century

Australia’s relationship with Asia is an enduring one and this thesis will historically examine connections between Asia and Australia. The long-term history of Australia’s relationship with the Asia-Pacific region is a research priority area of the Collaborative Research Centre in Australian History.
