Breanne Kunstler

Brea Kunstler is a PhD candidate and physiotherapist who is passionate about improving the physical activity levels of adults with musculoskeletal complaints. Her PhD involves identifying the ways physiotherapists help patients with musculoskeletal ailments become physically active, as well as what determines whether or not physiotherapists will encourage patients to be physically active. She is now in the final year of her candidature and has been awarded a 2016 Tagged Grant from the Physiotherapy Research Foundation to support her PhD projects. Brea is in the process of publishing two systematic reviews specific to the efficacy of physiotherapist-led physical activity interventions and the techniques used to promote physical activity in the physiotherapy setting. She will be presenting this work at the 2017 Victorian Allied Health Research Conference and the World Congress on Public Health.
