Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP)

Geordie McLeod

Geordie joined the ACRISP team in August 2017, after answering a call for a PhD candidate to research community cricket injuries, and using insurance claims as a means for injury surveillance.

Geordie brings a multifaceted background of structural engineering and osteopathy into the ACRISP team, as well as a passion for cricket. He still dons the whites each weekend in summer, much to the chagrin of his lower limbs. He also has a great interest in injury management and prevention through his osteopathy work.

Geordie’s supervisors are Dr Damian Morgan, Dr Lauren Fortington, Professor Caroline Finch and Dr Alex Kountouris.
