Document delivery services

We source copies and loans of additional resources that are not available through our databases or library for you from around the world.

Who can request?

Federation University staff, PhD students, masters students, honours and graduate diploma / certificate students. Please note that staff cannot use Document Delivery to request Learning Resources, these requests must be emailed to learningresources@federation.edu.au.

How do I request?

Via your Federation University Library My Library account.

How long does it take to receive my item?

Expect a few days if items are readily available, postal requests of items can take longer.

I'm an undergraduate or fourth-year honours student. Can I request?

Fourth-year and undergraduate honours students who need further resources to complete their final-year project, thesis or research, can make requests through a separate online form with authorisation from a liaison librarian or your lecturer. You may request copies of journal articles or book chapters within the copyright limit (i.e. one article from a Journal issue or one chapter/10% of a Book).

The Document Delivery Services Guide provides detailed information about our services.
