Reminder: Important changes required for linking to library resources 

ITS and the Library have implemented changes to the authentication for electronic resources. OpenAthens is the supported authentication method.

From December 2022, the Library will no longer support EZproxy links to Library resources.

Any links containing EZproxy in the url (via Moodle, EndNote, bookmarks etc.) will require no longer work and will need to be updated to OpenAthens format.

Course Readings staff can assist with updating links in Moodle shells.

Any existing links that contain OpenAthens authentication will not require changes.

Check your bookmark links. If you have saved your favourite databases e.g. Scopus, MIMS, EBSCO, Sage, DramaOnline in your bookmarks these will need to be updated if they are going to urls containing Ezproxy as these will not work.

The Libguides A to Z list provides urls for individual databases in OpenAthens format.

How do I update EZproxy links? 

To update EZproxy you will need to generate new links which will utilise OpenAthens authentication. For further information click here
