EndNote Desktop - Advanced

When you're comfortable with using the basic features of EndNote (the desktop app), there are a number of extra features you might like to know about, including :

• Automatic importing of PDFs (download a PDF to a folder and have it automatically added to EndNote, along with the associated referencing information)
• Automatic journal name abbreviation (or expansion, depending on style)
• Using smart groups to automatically file by keyword(s)
• Share a group of refernces with colleagues
• Changing the font (and other characteristics) EndNote uses for generating a reference list.
• Preparing for publication
