Research data management webinars

Posted: Monday 29 June 2020

It's not too late to register for the RDM program for researchers. The two sessions are complementary and cover data management considerations for the whole research life cycle.

11 am Wednesday July 1

Research Data Management Part A: Your research data and you

Are you confident to manage your data at every step of your research?

Develop data management wording for grant applications, find and use existing data sets, plan your data management early to prevent later problems. Research methodology and data collection, data and collaboration, data organisation and versioning, data security and sensitivity.

All this will be covered in an informative one hour session which will prepare you effectively find use and manage data.

2 pm Tuesday July 7

Research Data Management Part B: Your research data and the world

What will happen to your data once your research is finished? This session covers data clean-up, data formats, working with metadata (making your data findable and citable), data analysis, data publication and licensing (and increasing the citations of your related research publications) and long-term data storage. We'll step you through the processes to keep your data working for you beyond the original project.
