Regional Digitisation Project - position available

For 12 months from February 2020, Federation University will participate in a State-wide project to enable access to Victoria’s regional collections.

The Australian Museums and Galleries Association Victoria – or AMaGA Victoria – is the Victorian Branch of the Australian Museums and Galleries Association.  The Regional Digitisation Project is supported by Creative Victoria and delivered by AMaGA Victoria, with an aim to digitise and provide public access to Victoria’s distributed state collections.

As part of this project, a 12 month, part time position will be located at the Gippsland campus.  The Digitisation Officer is responsible for delivering digitisation assistance and on-site training to small to medium-sized community collecting organisations in Victoria as part of the Regional Digitisation Project.
