Clickview - a new video database

Posted: Monday 19 June 2017

FedUni Library has subscribed to a new video database – ClickView! It contains over 2,000 Australian educational videos (many from the producer VEA), that cover areas including education, nursing and health, business, engineering, sport and recreation, and a foundation skills collection covering basic skills in maths, job seeking and research. The videos range in level from Secondary, through TAFE to University level information.

The ClickView database allows teachers to make clips, and create interactive videos, for example embedding questions into a video for teaching purposes. Videos can be accessed via links in Moodle shells, and links can be sent to students via email.

There is also a wide collection of free-to-air video content on ClickView in the Exchange section, where there are curated lists of content about topics as varied as Indigenous Studies, Biology and Visual Arts among many others. There are also selected feature films available through this section of the database.

You can access ClickView via the following link –
