Pre-arrival

Your pre-arrival time is an important part of your early success at FedUni and we will support you with timely and accurate information so that you can make the best choices prior to your arrival.

The International Student Support team is easily contacted to ask any questions and we even put you in contact with a fellow student called a peer supporter so that when you arrive you will already know a fellow student on campus.

Information and resources

A Welcome Letter is sent to you detailing critical information that you need in order to prepare for your departure and the key dates that you must observe. We include maps and directions to ensure that you arrive at the right place and on time.

All international students are offered a free airport pickup and given preliminary information about accommodation options.

The Pre-arrival Guide covers all the important information that you will need in preparation for your journey such as pre-arrival checklists, helpful tips, other accommodation options, finances and what and what not to bring.

Peer supporter program

This program connects current FedUni students via email to you to answer questions that you may have prior to your arrival. The program, supported by the international team, provides a friendly peer-to-peer first contact when questions arise about studying at FedUni, the local community or what is Australia really like? Your peer supporter also assists at orientation day and looks forward to meeting the students that they have had contact with in person.
