At FedUni, we provide an orientation program specifically for our international students and pride ourselves on the personal support that we offer.
International orientation program
During orientation / enrolment you will learn about your rights and responsibilities and the many FedUni resources to support your welfare and learning. Staff at FedUni and industry experts carefully explain everything to you at orientation. This includes:
- Academic resources
- Campus and community tours
- Land and water safety
- Health and welfare
- Long term accommodation options
- ID cards
- Bank accounts and financial understanding
- Faculty information
- Enrolment/ timetables
As mentioned in your Welcome Letter, the orientation and enrolment days for international students are on Thursday 11and Friday 12 February. It is compulsory that students attend both of these days.

Community market stalls
We bring the community to you with representatives of the government and local businesses providing information that you might need when deciding on accommodation, transport, insurance as well as opportunities to play sport, attend hosting programs and develop your volunteering and leadership potential.
International Student Guide
International Student Guide — Your passport to success; is a comprehensive resource book covering essential campus and community information. You will receive this book as part of a resource pack handed out on orientation/enrolment day.
Muslim Student Guide
Muslim Student Guide — This is a comprehensive resource book for all Muslim students covering essential campus and community information.
Australian Government Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS)
The ESOS regulatory framework sets the standards and procedures for the provision of supports for international students. Information is available on the ESOS webpage.
