Essential requirements for admission

To capture additional details that are relevant to admission to the following postgraduate degrees, you will need to complete a supplementary application form. This should be completed prior to, or directly after, you have submitted your online application. We will be notified of your submission via email.

To capture additional details that are relevant to admission to the following postgraduate health degrees, you will need to complete a 'supplementary application form'. This should be completed prior to, or directly after, you have submitted your online application.
The 'Immunisation Verification Form' will need to be completed at the time of enrolment for placement requirements.

To capture additional details that are relevant to admission to the Master of Psychology degrees, you will need to complete the entrance survey and provide a referee report. These should be completed prior to, or directly after, you have submitted your online application.

The ‘Referee Reports’ must be submitted via HODSPA's new psychology reference site. We will receive a notification once this has been completed. Please ensure two referee reports are submitted, one academic reference and one professional reference.

The 'entrance survey' must be completed via Qualtrics. We will receive a notification once this has been completed.

To capture additional details that are relevant to admission to the Master of Teaching degrees, you will need to complete a supplementary application form, provide a referee report and complete Altus Suite (does not apply to Master of Teaching (Early Childhood). These should be completed prior to, or directly after, you have submitted your online application.

If you are supplying the ‘supplementary application form’ after your application, please submit it via the online portal. Your ‘Referee Report Form’ will be sent through to us directly.

All applicants to the Master of Teaching (Primary) and Master of Teaching (Secondary) are required to complete Altus Suite as part of their application. Altus Suite is a requirement for many of the initial teacher training courses in Victoria. It is a non-cognitive online test designed to assess an applicant's personal and professional attributes. Altus Suite consists of two parts, however only the Casper component is compulsory for Federation University applications. The test costs $80 which will be reimbursed by Federation University if you remain enrolled after the census date. We will receive your results 2 weeks after you complete your test.
