Federation graduates walking into jobs

Posted: Wednesday 5 February 2020

Federation University Australia graduates once again have demonstrated their strong employability by performing above the national average in three important fields as part of the latest Employer Satisfaction Survey.

Conducted by the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT), the 2019 project is the first national survey linking the experiences of graduates to the views of their employers.

The survey revealed high levels of employer satisfaction with Federation University graduates in a number of key areas:

  • Employability (92 per cent) – above the national average of 85 per cent
  • Foundation skills (94 per cent) – above the national average of 93 per cent
  • Adaptive skills  (90 per cent) – above the national average of 89 per cent
  • Collaborate skills (88 per cent) – the same as the national average
