Ballarat businesses have responded quickly to the Federation University / Commerce Ballarat business survey distributed two weeks ago.    

The anonymous survey, which is a joint project of the two organisations, is the first of its type for the region. It is designed to gauge the confidence of Ballarat businesses, as well as their priorities and hopes for the future.

So far up to 150 local businesses have completed and returned the survey, which is a combination of multiple choice questions and written responses. The survey has been emailed to many local businesses, both members and non-members of Commerce Ballarat.

Any businesses still wishing to complete the survey have until 31 October to return their answers.    

The results from the survey will be revealed in the first quarter of 2020.
