New scholarships available to boost study opportunities at FedUni

Posted: Thursday 20 December 2018

Scholarships totalling $7 million are now available for students enrolling at Federation University Australia next year.

Up to 50 types of scholarships are on offer covering a wide range of fields.

“The University is proud that our scholarships, bursaries and grants support people from all walks of life,” Professor Helen Bartlett, Vice-Chancellor and President, said.

“Our support isn’t limited to a chosen few students. Our support extends to those experiencing financial and other disadvantage, those in remote locations, and also to Indigenous students.

“We also provide a High Achievers Scholarship of up to $18,000 for VCE students who have performed exceptionally well.

“Our strong industry links, government support and philanthropic donations has allowed us to provide this extensive range of scholarships, bursaries and grants.”

In addition, a series of KickStart grants will be distributed to eligible students for uniforms, computers, nursing kits and other critical one-off items.

“Our new range of scholarships are the most comprehensive  yet offered,” Jerry van Delft, Director of Student Connect, said.

“All of our campuses have some form of scholarship available.

“We encourage students hoping to pursue tertiary education in 2019 to go to our website and explore the many opportunities available to you.”
