FedUni Brisbane Campus maintains relationship with industry

Posted: Wednesday 29 August 2018

Federation University Australia continues to build upon its long-standing relationship with information technology providers.

A new program allows students to gain experience through a four-week placement program at the Concentrix office in Brisbane.

Upon completion, students receive credit into their degree and gain valuable skills through participation in an industry environment.

Sampresh Shrestha and Anchal Gulati, students from the Brisbane Campus, have been offered employment upon completion of the placement, providing them real world experience as they continue to complete their degree.

On recent visits to India and China, FedUni Brisbane Executive Director, Alex Elibank Murray, had the opportunity to visit key Concentrix sites to discuss the program and create links for future graduates.

“This is a great example of collaboration between the University and a valued partner working toward professional experiences and potential graduate opportunities for our students,” Ms Elibank Murray said.

“It has been wonderful to hear the feedback from both Concentrix and student participants like Anchal and Sampresh.”

Located at 333 Ann Street, Brisbane, the $6 million award winning FedUni campus offers a suite of business and information technology programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
