Posted: Tuesday 5 December 2017

Federation University Australia will host a series of ConnectEd business and education networking sessions at its Ballarat, Berwick and Gippsland Campuses throughout December.

The free breakfast events will explore business education projects and partnerships, as well as the skills needed for future success in the business and education industries.

Associate Professor Bob O’Shea, Executive Dean of the Federation Business School, said the Ballarat event would be ideal for teachers wanting to develop stronger connections with business education in their region.

“Our sessions will assist anyone hoping to gain expert information and guidance about business education,” Associate Professor O’Shea said.

Professor John McDonald, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Education and Arts, said FedUni was a leading provider of high quality teaching graduates built upon strong school partnerships throughout Victoria and beyond.

“The ConnectEd events are a great opportunity to learn more about the many exciting opportunities available in teacher education at our university,” Professor McDonald said.

The Ballarat event at the SMB Campus will be held from 7.00 to 8.00 am, Tuesday, 5 December.

The Gippsland Campus event will be held from 4.00 to 5.00 pm, Tuesday, 12 December.

The Berwick Campus event will be held from 4.00 to 5.00 pm, Wednesday, 13 December.
