Posted: Thursday 3 August 2017

Federation University Australia has opened the doors to its new Brisbane Campus.

Located at 333 Ann Street, Brisbane, the $6 million operation will initially offer four programs to international students: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting); Master of Business Administration (Health Services Management); Master of Technology (Software Engineering); Master of Technology (Enterprise Systems and Business Analytics).

Operating on a trimester model, the first students will be welcomed in November.

“This campus is an important new addition to FedUni and increases our footprint in Australia, while also expanding international student recruitment and student mobility opportunities,” Professor Helen Bartlett, Vice-Chancellor of Federation University Australia, said.

“The facility is extremely impressive and its central location will be a drawcard to international students wishing to study in Australia.

“FedUni has a long record of attracting international students to its campuses. Our Brisbane Campus is an exciting new chapter in the University’s history.”

The new Campus encompasses a number of features aimed at enhancing learning, including state-of-the-art computer labs and a stunning interior designed by architects Conrad Gargett.

The Brisbane programs integrate industry experience to ensure a higher degree of success for its graduates and students may apply for a Brisbane Industry Internship Scholarship or an Emerging Leaders Scholarship.

Alexandra Elibank Murray is Director of the FedUni Brisbane Campus and is responsible for campus operations and development. She has previously held senior roles at Charles Sturt University and South Metro TAFE WA.
