Posted: Monday 24 July 2017

Federation University Australia is delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to its Ballarat, Gippsland and Berwick Campuses for the 2017 Open Day on Sunday, 27 August.

The campuses will be open from 10 am to 3 pm on the day. Visitors will be able to explore our wide range of programs at Discovery Points at each campus.

Prospective students can meet and speak with staff and current students; attend informative program information sessions and collect detailed course and student services and support information.

Visitors also are invited to explore the University’s facilities and FedUni Living accommodation.

“At FedUni, you will be able to learn practical, hands-on skills as part of a community, not just a university,” Phill Crone, Manager of Marketing and Communications, said.

“On behalf of the University I am pleased to welcome students and their families to FedUni for our 2017 Open Day.

“You will find university staff and student ambassadors at hand who will readily help with any questions or wishes you may have.”

The Faculty of Education and Arts also will have all the up-to-date information you need if you wish to become a teacher.

Ballarat activities include Try-a-Trade Alley, canoeing, arts performances, and rock climbing.

At Gippsland, activities will include criminal justice investigations, outdoor education activities, nursing survivor challenge, and IT and Science Zones.

A free shuttle bus will operate between the University’s Mt Helen and Camp Street campuses and the Ballarat Railway Station throughout the day.

There will be around 1500 free car parking spaces at the Mt Helen Campus and event parking signage will be in place on the day.
