Eligibility for government funding to study at TAFE has changed
Do you want to study at TAFE, but have been told that you are ineligible for a subsidised place because,
- You already hold a qualification at the same level or higher than the qualification you are interested in. For example, you already have a diploma-level qualification, but you want to study a diploma or a Certificate IV level program.
- You have previously commenced two or more programs at the same level of the program you want to study now. For example, you have previously started (but not completed) two different diploma-level qualifications, and now want to enrol into a new diploma course.
The state government has now allowed exemptions from these regulations for TAFE students. This means that FedUni TAFE is able to offer 2016 government-subsidised places to students who have previously been ineligible for either of the above reasons.
Private training organisations cannot offer these exemptions, so contact FedUni TAFE now to find if you are eligible to study with us.
Note: These exemptions are only for students enrolling to start their study in 2016, and the number of these places is capped, so don't miss out. Call us now to find out if you are eligible and how to apply.
