IT study pathways
Our study pathways offer you the flexibility to achieve your career goals, from Certificate I to PhD.
Students who complete the Diploma in Information Technology, Digital Media and Technology may follow the pathway to an Advanced Diploma in Information, Digital Media and Technology and subsequently to the Bachelor of Applied Management (Design); or to the Faculty of Science and Technology, where they will receive up to 3 semesters credit when they articulate to the Bachelor of Information Technology - Computer Games.
All programs have been designed in conjunction with industry partners to produce industry-ready graduates.
Undergraduate programs include the unique Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice), an integrated work and study program delivered in partnership with IBM; the two-year Associate Degree of Information Technology; and the three-year Bachelor of Information Technology with specialisations available in computer games, software engineering, business systems, and of course, an honours programs. At postgraduate level, offerings include a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Computing, a Master of Computing (by research) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
