About CTE

This program offers units from the Certificate I in Transition Education. The CTE will provide post-school educational options to students with individual or special learning needs. This course helps them find the most appropriate option in the community after leaving school.

Students will find this course suitable if they have:

  • Learning disabilities and/or difficulties
  • Developmental delay
  • Specific disorders, such as autism spectrum or Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and are otherwise unable to meet entry requirements of accredited training

This course aims to provide students with the skills to access further education or training. It can also assist in their entry into paid employment or voluntary work.
