General English program

General English Programs - Course in preliminary or Certificates I, II and III in Spoken and Written English

Australian citizens and permanent residents may enrol in the General English Program to improve speaking, listening, reading and writing in English. This will help you if you are looking for work or want to continue with further study, as well as improve your access to the broader community. Federation College delivers the Adult Migrant Education Program (AMEP) as part of the General English Program. This means students can study 510 hours of English as a new arrival in Australia at Federation College. After the 510 hours has been completed, students can continue to study English with us, depending on their needs and eligibility.
