InPlace Student Information
The InPlace Student Placement System is used by Federation University Australia to manage all aspects of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and student placements. All staff and students involved in WIL and student placements have access to this cloud-based student placement platform.
You can access InPlace via Firefox, Google Chrome or any preferred browser.
Use your Federation University username and password to log into the InPlace student placement system.
Student agreement declaration regarding the use of InPlace
Before undertaking any WIL, clinical or education placement, students must agree to abide by the WIL requirements (please note this link will take you to the WIL website).
Student access to InPlace
Log in with your student ID number and FedUni password (the password you’re already using to log into My Student Centre).
All students enrolled in a course that involves going out on placement (even if you arrange those placements yourself) will need to access the InPlace system.
This InPlace Student Placement System is the main way you will communicate with your placement coordinator and academic supervisor while you’re on your placement. You will need to access the system to make your preferences, find out where you have been placed and use the log book function to communicate with your placement coordinator, supervisors at the University and in some workplaces (depending on where you are, your workplace supervisor may have access to the system).
You can download the InPlace Student User Guide (pdf, 492kb) to help with getting started.
If you are having trouble logging in to InPlace or have forgotten your password, please use the Password reset portal. Please remember that you must be enrolled in a placement course before your InPlace account will be activated.
If you’re having difficulty using the system please contact our InPlace Support Coordinator - email@example.com
If you have questions about your placement please contact your placement coordinator or placement administrative officer
