FoST Executive Dean Scholarship

In recognition of the great achievements of international students and to support your study, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FoST) at Federation University Australia is offering Executive Dean Scholarships to new international students commencing engineering, information technology and science programs in 2016. This applies to all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs in FoST.

When you apply for a FoST program, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship.

The value of each scholarship is equivalent to 20% of fees for the first year. The scholarship will be extended year by year until the end of the program, if you pass all your courses with average grade at Credit (60%) or better in each previous year.

Scholarship information

Amount

The scholarship is equivalent to 20% of the annual tuition fee for the normal duration of your program if ongoing eligibility criteria is met. The total value of the scholarship will not be more than 20% of the total program fee based on the normal program length (credit point/EFTSL). It will be calculated on a pro rata basis and is determined by your enrolled study load as at the semester census date.

Payment details

You pay your Semester 1 fees in full as part of your enrolment. The scholarship is applied to your tuition fees after census date. It is nonrefundable unless you have a credit balance on your account at the end of your program

Ongoing eligibility criteria

Before we apply your scholarship each semester, we will check your enrolment status to ensure you are still enrolled and meet the eligibility criteria. The FoST Executive Dean Scholarship will be extended year by year till the end of your program if you pass all courses with an average grade of Credit (60%) or better. You will forfeit ongoing scholarship payments if you are unable to achieve this grade, and will be required to pay the balance of your tuition fees in full by the due date.

Scholarship offer

The scholarship offer will be made to successful applicants when we send your program offer letter.

Accepting the scholarship

You will need to accept the offer within 3 weeks from the date of the offer letter.
