Undergraduate Scholarships

For students applying to commence in 2018

The Faculty of Science and Technology support their students with a range of scholarships valued up to $12,000 for students undertaking the following programs. All students who meet eligibility requirements are strongly encouraged to apply.

Scholarships available

IBM Professional Practice (Prof Prac) Scholarships – from a minimum of $35,500 (a combination of scholarship funds and paid employment)

All students accepted into the Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice) are automatically awarded this scholarship. Students will receive approximately $35,500 in scholarships as part of the program.


Students applying for the following scholarships must complete the KickStart registration, and the additional information form.


Women in Information Technology/Women in Engineering Scholarships - $12,000

These scholarships (two available) are awarded to women entering undergraduate Information Technology or Engineering programs with the highest ATAR score above 80. The Scholarship value is a maximum of $12,000.


School of Science Information Technology and Engineering Scholarships $12,000 (two available)

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate students with the highest ATAR score above 80. The Scholarships value is a maximum of 12,000 each. (excluding Honours)


School of Applied and Biomedical Sciences Scholarships $12,000 each (two available)

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate students with the highest ATAR score above 80. The Scholarships value is a maximum of 12,000 each. (excluding Honours)


Honours Scholarships - $3,000 (two available)

These scholarships will be awarded to applicants entering the Faculty of Science and Technology Honours programs. Applications will be assessed and awarded to the highest achieving students according to their academic performance within their undergraduate degree.
