4-10 Dec 2017. Perth. Joint Optimisation Conferences
The Joint Optimization Conferences 2017 (JOC 2017) took place 4-10 December 2017 at Curtin University in Perth. It was the major event of the year for the Australian optimization community. It included:
- The Eighth Australia-China Workshop on Optimization: Theory, Methods and Applications (ACWO 2017).
- The Second Pacific Optimization Conference (POC 2017)
- The South Pacific Optimization Meeting in Western Australia 2017 (SPOM in WA 2017)
Apart from Australian researchers and research students, a large number of international experts in the field from China, the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Chile presented keynote lectures and invited talks and participated in discussions. 12 presentations were made by FedUni Centre for Informatics and Applied Optimisation (CIAO) researchers and research students.
