Nursing and Midwifery clinical placement resources
Clinical placement is designed to:
- complement the theoretical program of the Bachelor of Nursing
- allow students to develop skills commensurate with their progress in the course
- integrate theoretical knowledge with nursing practice
Clinical placement is a compulsory component of the Bachelor of Nursing program representing approximately fifty percent (50%) of the total program. It is essential that students successfully complete their clinical placements in order to pass the relevant unit and successfully complete the Bachelor of Nursing program.
