Research Interests

Sue has broad research interests.  She has a background in research in the area of bipolar disorders and the use of online technology.  This includes adapting interventions to an online modality, as well as the use of apps in supporting healthy behaviours.  She also has an interest in the use of discussion boards, and how they might enhance online programs, as well as be an avenue of social support.  Sue is also interested in social support more broadly and its role in resilience. Other areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, and the role of exercise in maintaining wellness.  Sue offers postgraduate supervision in these areas.
